Grimsby: A Place We Call Home

Comments Off on Grimsby: A Place We Call Home

We’d love to invite you to join us at Grimsby: A Place We Call Home, a special public event supporting Grimsby’s bid to become the UK’s first Town of Culture in 2028.

Friday 9 October

Grimsby Minster
From 10am
Free to attend – no booking required
For one day, we’re transforming Grimsby Minster into a giant interactive home and inviting the whole community to come inside, explore and help shape what could come next for our town.
There’ll be plenty happening throughout the day, with performances, conversations and creative activities alongside lots of different ways to share your own stories, ideas and ambitions for Grimsby.

Whether you can stay for ten minutes or spend a little longer with us, we want as many people and voices from across our community involved as possible. Bring colleagues, friends or family and simply drop in whenever works for you.

We’d also really appreciate your help spreading the word. Please feel free to forward this invitation or share the event through your social media and wider networks – the more people who get involved, the better picture we can build of what Grimsby wants from its cultural future.

Can’t make it on the day?
There are still lots of ways to support GY28 and have your say online. You’ll find the survey, website and GY28 social media links below.
